Orange County-based family law attorney Gerald A. Maggio has over 27 years of legal experience. He founded California Divorce Mediators in 2015 and prides himself on providing a personalized approach to each mediation. Trained in divorce and family law mediation, Gerry seeks to always uphold the highest standards of helpfulness, compassion, and professionalism during mediations.

Gerry Maggio became a California attorney in 1999 after graduating from Western State University College of Law in Irvine and San Diego State University. He is proud to have received prestigious awards and honors for his legal services, including being named to the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys' 10 Best Attorneys for California. Gerry also values his membership in several professional associations.

Earlier in his career, Gerry founded the Maggio Law Firm in 2005, building a respected family law practice serving clients throughout Southern California. That experience inside and outside the courtroom gives him a clear understanding of how contested divorces unfold, and why so many families are better served by a process that keeps them out of litigation.

Gerry created California Divorce Mediators to offer couples a calmer, more affordable alternative to a traditional divorce. The practice is built around handling the entire process remotely, for a single flat fee and with no surprises. His focus throughout is on helping both spouses reach a fair, durable agreement while avoiding the cost, conflict, and uncertainty of a courtroom battle.
